FACULTY ASSOCIATION MEETING
Call to Order: F. van Hartesveldt called the meeting to
order at
Employment Contract Review. F. van Hartesveldt devoted several minutes to a brief review of the negotiating team activities during the summer noting that the team took only a two-week break from negotiating. He also highlighted the new parking plan and the form required for selecting an option, the increased longevity pay benefit, and the new longevity training benefit.
MOTION: Ratify the 2004-2007 employment contract. Mark Saur; second, Joe Hesse
During discussion questions were voiced and addressed about administrators paying for parking, the ORP rate, domestic partner benefits, and new benefits for adjunct faculty.
Ballots were distributed and instructions given to deposit them upon exiting the meeting area.
